I do find it very enlightening. Thank you for the recommendation. An interesting synchronicity: yesterday I was walking on our wooded property, found a large hawk feather, and instead of simply carrying it home to add to my collection, I tucked it into a pocket from which most of it protruded and “wore” it home. Best, Jeanie

On re-reading your note, nearly 2 years later, I smile and think of what you did not know until recently. Shhh! It’s a secret. The author of “Feather” is anonymous.

Hello Jean Raffa,
I came across your blog and I must say I LOVE it! I really enjoyed reading it and felt a ton of synergy with our project.
Have you heard about the new documentary inspired by the teachings of Joseph Campbell: FINDING JOE. We are starting to reach out on a very grassroots level to influential bloggers, like you, who share our vision and would be supportive of the message.
I’d love to send you a copy for your review. We have over 9000 fans on Facebook and we could definitely help promote your work, especially since I know our community would really benefit from your writing.
Please let me know if you would like me to send you a DVD and I’ll rush one out.

FINDING JOE
In the early 20th century, while studying world mythology, Joseph Campbell discovered a pattern hidden in every story ever told and he called it “The Hero’s Journey.” A truly inspirational film, FINDING JOE takes us on the ultimate hero’s journey: the journey of self discovery. Using the mythological teachings of Joseph Campbell, and interviews with visionaries, the film inspires us all to discover our passions and purpose. As you slay dragons and uncover treasures, you just may find that the holy grail you seek is closer than you think. This life changing film is now available on DVD and iTunes.
Featuring: Deepak Chopra, Mick Fleetwood, Tony Hawk, Rashida Jones, Laird Hamilton, Robert Walter, Robin Sharma, Catherine Hardwicke, Sir Ken Robinson, Akiva Goldsman and many more.

Dear Priscilla,
Thank you for the offer. I love Campbell’s work and was thrilled to learn about the documentary, so I bought the DVD a while back. I haven’t seen it yet, however. I’d be happy to write a review of it when I do!
Best of luck with your project,
Jeanie

Oh, Zurich! How I love your city. I wish I’d known of you when I went there. We could certainly have had an absorbing talk about symbolism and psychology, couldn’t we? Perhaps we’ll have another opportunity one day. Thank you so much for writing, both your wonderful blog and this comment!
Warmly,
Jeanie

Sorry, couldn’t find email for J. Raffa, hence I am posting my question here, please.
In many Countries and different languages too there is a test known as “Walking in the Woods”.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not accurate with the questions nor with the answers (analysis). [Not accurate as I remember of it some 35 years ago].
HOWEVER it is very close to those tests carried out in those days. This means that there must be a source from where the “original” tests came from. [Suggestions and memory tells me Jung, but have not found anything].
Can someone please help me [looking for source > instructions book]. Thanks. 🙂 🙂

I’m glad you found my blog. I’ve never heard of a test called “Walking in the Woods.” It sounds intriguing! I’m a member of a Jungian group on Facebook and will pose your question there. If I get a response, I’ll let you know. Best wishes, Jeanie

Well that was fast. A member of my Jung group just gave me this link to the test: http://www.naute.com/puzzles/woods.php I took it and it was true and fun!

Someone at my group site gave me this link to an Island personality test. They said to take it immediately after the Walk through the Forest Test without looking at the answers. They said that if you look at the answers it spoils your response to the Island test. http://www.lifedestiny.com/person/person1.html Enjoy

Thank you for your website. I write about the sub-conscious collective as an energy field from which sensitives can (I theorize) access multidimensional, nonlocal entities. I suspect there is architypical role-playing available at this level of resonance, however, it is more of an energy access point, a launchpoint if you will. As a born mystic and recent channeler (since 1996) the pathway has changed slightly, taking me into these two new reservoirs of collective thought-forms; conscious and sub-conscious. My book will be out in March/April 2014. The “Multiple You” Universe: Sacred Science for the 21st Century, if that is of interest to you. Available at Amazon.com. You can contact me in the meantime if you like.

Thank you for your comments, Rev. Martin. I also think the collective unconscious is an energy field filled with information to which we can gain access if we can learn to quiet the mind. I wish you the best of luck with your new book and look forward to checking it out. Best, Jeanie
